About No BS

I’ve spent the last several years working with individuals and organizations all over the world to help make work a better place to be. The focus of my energy has been on helping employees to use mindfulness techniques to empower themselves, create more fulfilling experiences, build more resilient teams, and reduce overall employee stress so that they can be more creative and productive.

But, I’ve always been a truth-teller, for better or worse! And in the course of my work, I’ve seen more BS moments than I can count, everything from employees being fired over email, to bosses’ sabotaging their employees because of personal grudges, to well-intentioned professionals being repeatedly thrown under the bus by their colleagues. So often, these stories are swept under the rug or explained away…and then they continue to happen over and over again, and we wonder why.

No BS is about removing the spin that usually comes when these stories are brought to light, to allow us to understand the human experience from the perspective of those who lived them. And by telling these stories, that will help us to understand what organizations can do to remove as much of the BS nonsense from their ranks as possible.
